So, I wrote this article during the summer and forgot to post it for some reason. Aly suggested I do so now, so I figured I might as well.
All the travelers have been posting their July adventures as they move to new places and do fun new things. I suppose that it is time that the Dudleys show you that you can have just as much fun in the Pacific NW as you can in Michigan or Tahiti.
Our first excursion was when we went to Vancouver, Canada for a week. We stayed at a really fancy Air Bnb, explored around downtown Vancouver (including going to a really cool library), visited the ocean, went on hikes, went to parks, and went out to eat a few times.

Us on a hike to a pretty waterfall. |

Here we are, as close as we can get to the ocean without getting our shoes wet. |
|
At another beach on a really nice day. As you can see, I wasn't wearing a swimsuit, which meant my pants were soaked by unexpected waves and deep water. |
|
We crossed a bouncy suspension bridge over a deep chasm that was not loved by everybody. Henry almost jumped off the side, though. |
|
Here we are in front of the temple. Albert really didn't want to take a picture outside of the shade. |

Dad thought it would be funny for all the kids to take a picture under the arch that reads "Children of a common mother". |
Next, we went down to Oregon for a day to visit Jonathan and Anneli (because we're cool and being together, unlike you) and did a lot of stuff there. We ate lunch at their apartment, then went and saw the Portland temple and visitors' center, then went to Powell's, a really big bookstore, then to a splash park, then went to a fancy old-fashioned mansion and picnicked on the lawn, and then finished it off with getting really yummy ice cream and eating it at a rose garden.
The next week, we went camping at Mora, the same place we went ten years ago, down to the campsite (we're going again in ten years, if you want to join us, you're welcome to). We had fun times a Realto, Second, and Third Beach (Second was my personal favorite) and we went on a few hikes.
The week after this was Girls' Camp, and that was so special it gets its own article.
