So we may not have found any super cool new types of rootbeer on our trip, but we seem to have struck a jackpot yesterday. We were driving around town to who knows where when Spencer announced that he had to go the bathroom. We pulled over to a grocery store, and the oldest five kids plus Zach all piled out of the car. As we were walking in, I noticed several things that hinted that the store sold local products. I suggested that maybe Zach should check if the store had any unique rootbeer. So, while the boys and I went to the bathroom, Zach checked the drinks aisle. I'm glad I suggested that we check for rootbeer, 'cause there were seven new kinds of rootbeer, seven! As we pushed the cart out to the car, Sarah looked at us like we were crazy, (Which, ya know, is true). "All I thought was, 'Oh brother, he's done it again. What are we gonna do with all this rootbeer?'" She said, reflecting on the experience. We have two packs of all the types with 4 bottles, totaling 47 bottles of rootbeer.
