Zach Smith collects rootbeer bottles, tokens of the many varieties of rootbeer that he tastes. Everywhere we go, Zach makes it a point to seek out any new types of rootbeer that are unique to the area. With this new trek across the country, he has determined to embark on 'The Rootbeer Quest'. Everywhere we go, the Smith Kids were tasked to keep an eye out for new types of rootbeer. Our first rootbeer discovery took place in Rapid City, South Dakota at a restaurant called Firehouse Brewing Co. (See the article about this restaurant by clicking here) The rootbeer was amazing, with a strong flavor. Our next discovery was at a place called Wall Drug, an old-fashioned store. The kids didn't get to try it, but the bottle looked cool!
